Literature Text

You laugh, you joke, you stare at her,
As her vision slowly blurs.
She gets up and goes into hiding,
Where her gloom is forever presiding.

Staring in the mirror and wondering why,
They have it so easy and how hard she tries.
Her razorblade picks up its pace,
As she remembers their sneering faces.

Pills, therapy, shes lost belief,
Turning to the only answer for relief.
The word 'goodbye' crosses her lips,
Giving her wrist the final razorblade kiss.

The other kids laugh but inside they know,
It was truly not her time to go.
Because of them she is forever gone,
In their minds her memory wears on.
tis a poem about a girl...about me...about lila....about a girl.
